After a careful planning, the support act for the tour starting in October has finally been confirmed. CHAMBER -L'Orchestre de chambre noir are going to continue the tradition of first-class Special Guests during countless L'ÂME IMMORTELLE tours enriching the evening with their unique sound. The concert in Vienna where CHAMBER, unfortunately, are unable to come will be supported by SAMSAS TRAUM who already convinced the audience as support of our recent tour.

From now on, the brand-new L’ÂME IMMORTELLE video rotates on VIVA! A unique chance to dive deep into the gloomy elegance of the forthcoming single „5 Jahre“ (street date 30.08.04) even in front of your TV set. If you want to support the band just check the VIVA Voting Hotline and the domain „Get The Clip“ and make sure that the lavish video is more often on TV!But the best thing is that the band will have a guest appearance at VIVA Interaktiv on 1st September answering in detail all your personal questions.
If you want to quench your thirst for knowledge prior to that you shouldn’t miss the great L’ÂME IMMORTELLE chat series starting this Sunday, 22nd August, on the band’s own homepage www.lai-music.com ! From 7 p.m., Thomas is going to answer your questions.
Here and now, Thomas personally tells you all about the extras and the presentation of the single „5 Jahre“: „Fortunately, you won‘t have to wait for 5 years, because our new single is finally out on 30th August. The limited version of the single is wrapped up in a stylish Digipak and as usual, it will sell out in no time at all, so you’d better order in advance or settle down outside the record store of your confidence the weekend before ;-).
Besides „5 Jahre“, which might be well-known by now, the limited single contains some bonus tracks such as „Soul In Agony“, an almost classic L’ÂME IMMORTELLE track featuring a vocal duel between Sonja and me. „Lass mich fallen“ is a song that I am committed heart and soul to, not only as it is the first ballad sung by myself, but also due to its lamenting violin solo at the end. Another bonus track of the Limited Edition is called „The Beast“, a more traditional L’ÂME IMMORTELLE song; driven by electronics, furious strings alternate with hard guitar riffs. „Elegy“ is our experimental, ambient and industrial musical version of an English poem which dates from the 17th century.

HIGHFIELD 2004
Only interrupted by an extensive promo tour, we set out from MERA LUNA straight to the HIGHFIELD festival which took place at the idyllic artificial lake in Hohenfelden (near Erfurt). After the successful gig in Hildesheim, the band and the crew went on shore leave in Vienna, and we met again on the festival terrain ready to perform the first L'ÂME IMMORTELLE show in front of a mainly "non-gothic" audience. During "Aus den Ruinen" at the latest, we had the audience under control, and we could hardly believe that most of them certainly hadn't heard of our music before. This suspicion was hardened during the following autograph session at the INTRO stand which was very lively in our view.Till Sonja joined OOMPH! on stage in order to perform our common smash hit "Brennende Liebe" together with Dero, we enjoyed Vienna, women and chants, and the following day, we once again hit the road to the "5 Jahre" release party at the Zapfendorf venue TOP ACT (www.lanuitobscure.de) while our entourage went back home.

MERA LUNA 2004
After two days with blazing heat, the probably most passionate performance of our career so far and an acid test which was passed well by the new live line-up, we've just returned to our "normal" life today ;-) As usual, MERA LUNA was a very special festival for us and we would like to take the opportunity to thank all our fans for their wonderful support. Once again, we were very pleased to meet some of you face to face during the autograph session (or sessions, because there were two of them).Without you we're nothing!

It won’t take much longer until L´ÂME IMMORTELLE release their new single „5 Jahre“ on 30rd August 2004. The accompanying video is already in the bag; it was shot last week on a cemetery of the Romanian capital Bucharest.

L'ÂME IMMORTELLE: Rock with a lot of soul!!!
Following their Top 10 single "Brennende Liebe" together with OOMPH!, L'ÂME IMMORTELLE are finally on their marks with their own single "5 Jahre" (out on 30rd August 2004).At the beginning of this year already, L'ÂME IMMORTELLE (which means "The Immortal Soul") retired to the legendary London based Woodbinestreet studio. There, vocalist Sonja Kraushofer and mastermind Thomas Rainer recorded their brand-new song material together with the two renowned producers Rhys Fulber and John A. Rivers (Fear Factory, Paradise Lost & Dead Can Dance).
The result: a unique combination of melancholic lyrics, electronic sounds and clever arrangements, impressively united on the new single "5 Jahre".
"Brennende Liebe" once again Top 10 !!!
With their current single „Brennende Liebe“,OOMPH! and L´ÂME IMMORTELLE return to the Top 10 of the German singles charts taking position # 9 this week. Even the OOMPH! album „Wahrheit oder Pflicht“ climbs up a cool 11 places currently taking position # 34 of the album charts.The reason for that is the new edition of the album „Wahrheit oder Pflicht“ which has been up for grabs for one week now. Besides the well-known 12 tracks, it finally features the second Top 10 single „Brennende Liebe“, the Frankenstein video which goes with it as well as a cover version of the Grauzone track „Eisbär“.
'Brennende Liebe' - now available!!!
Since Monday (10.05.04) the new OOMPH! Single 'Brennende Liebe' featuring L'ÂME IMMORTELLE is available at your record dealer's. Besides a 3 Track single-release, 'Brennende Liebe' is also available as a limited Digipak Edition, including the great 'Frankenstein'-Videoclip and four more songs.There's one English title called 'Kill Me Again', one cover-track of Ideal's 'Eiszeit' and two remix-versions of 'Brennende Liebe' which entered the Club-Scene within shortest time period - all together about 22 minutes long!!!
Those who want to get one of the limited Editions really should hurry!!
